The Decision Is All Yours !
“What ?... Zero plastic? No, I am not going in there… I have much worse things to take care of…. And how can I always bother about not taking plastic? Besides that doesn’t even sound realistic….” You might probably have thought like this when you first heard the concept of Zero plastic. Imagine the whole world has started to think like you. In a century there will be a big bunch of plastic but not the human race.
And most importantly I don’t think that mother-nature really cares about having dangerous species of human beings while losing the other children. The best option left for her to save the others, is to evacuate us.
Yeah …. I know that doesn’t sound so nice…
So let’s think about being polite and decent children to mother-nature. Stop being noisy and impolite.. Come and work for it.
Just some simple steps and you are good to go. Although you are now much aware about the alternative products for plastic and about the zero plastic concepts, you are a little bit reluctant to follow the steps. I will give you motivation so that you can motivate others.
Plastic is commonly known as a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic that use polymers as a main ingredient. The child material class is Bakelite, Poly methyl methacrylate, polyvinyl chloride and the parent material class is synthetic fiber.
You bring plastic home and after use you just throw it into the dustbin and hand it over to the municipal council whatever authority, and sigh peacefully and say, “Ah… it’s over” No… it is not over. Plastic really doesn’t decompose which means all the plastic that has made so far is still present there in one form or another.
And the most surprising fact is that it takes approximately 450 years to deteriorate plastic. If you bought a plastic grocery bag when you are at the age of 25 and it remained at the time of your children’s children and their children and for generations. Scary..!!
Option 1 , burning the plastic. Do you think it will be over if we just burn it we can solve the problem? Nah.. It makes this even worse. Burning gas can emit toxic gasses like dioxins, furans, Mercury and polychlorinated biphenyls also known as BCPs into the atmosphere. This is a huge threat to vegetation, human and animal health.
Have you ever wondered every time you burn plastic why are you having a severe headache? Yeah that’s right.. In the process of inhaling plastic fumes can cause an increasing risk of heart disease, respiratory side effects such as aggravated asthma, skin irritations, headaches, nervous system damage, and other organ damage such as the kidney, liver, and reproductive system.
Imagine your loved ones are suffering from these deadly side effects. Do you want it? The decision is all yours. Would you still declined to go for #zeroplastic ?
