It is how our 6 years of bestie and beastie friendship has started.

Yeah, it was such a boring ICT class, and I was eagerly waiting for those 2 hours to end so I could catch up on my snack. I was sitting in the middle, and Uthpala was next to me, introducing a petite girl with fabulous hair from head to toe.

”Isuri, she is Lalitya, and she also did English literature too.”

“Seriously? I did literature too!”

And that's how our 6 years of bestie and beastie friendship started. Lalitya is Lali for me, my one and only best and beastiest bestie, who has cried, laughed, and shared tears with me. She is the epitome of a best friend who really taught me the value of a bestie.

Yes, I'm really lucky to have her in my life. She cares about my health, birthdays, education, and even food (remember the 22nd midnight surprise of a snack).

Lali, I'm so happy because you are my bestie, and no one could ever replace you. Remember, we have some things on our bucket list until the next time you return to Sri Lanka.

Believe me! My tears are starting to kick in. No, I'm not crying until I finish this.

Be safe! Be happy! Drink water as much as possible, and don't skip meals inside the dorm. Don't take more than 3 glasses of wine! I don't want to see my bestie as a skeleton in 3 years.

I always believe in you. I'm happy because you have already succeeded in your life (except for that crush thingy), but you're my girl. You have all the powers to achieve things in the future. I'm sad because we can't meet, talk, and laugh seeing each other face to face (except Facetime).

I love you to the moon and back, Lali!

Isuri loves you a lot.

Take care, love
